Who we are Bruncsoft™ is a brand, not a company. “Bruncsoft” is a trademark and trading name used by Viktor Brunclík; it is not an incorporated company, and nothing on this site should be read as implying otherwise. Where these Terms say “Bruncsoft”, they mean that work and the person behind it. Bruncsoft is based in the Czech Republic and works with customers anywhere. Nothing here is limited to Czech customers. Where local law gives you rights we cannot sign away, those rights stand regardless of what these Terms say. 2. Services Bruncsoft is a student studio , and it now does three things: we build websites — the front end people see and the back end behind it — we make marketing material (graphics, texts, a logo, a leaflet) and we design business cards . We offer hosting and maintenance for the sites we build. Everything is delivered project by project as agreed in writing. Websites are the work we have delivered to paying customers. Marketing and business cards are newer ground for us, and both are marked as such on our Services page. This is stated before you buy, not after, and it does not change what is agreed in writing for a given project: whatever we take on, we deliver as agreed or we say at the outset that we cannot. We no longer run a product of our own ; everything here is work done for a customer. Things we have retired. The AI Platform (BruncGate, Loop, Empathy), Bruncsoft Truth as a separate product, Bruncsoft Automation as a subscription, Terms & Docs, Bruncpedia, the two e-shops and the live AI chat demo were withdrawn during 2026. In September 2026 the offering was cut back to the three things above: applications, e-shops, automation, AI tools, deploying AI products and LiteLLM, source research and checking, and deepfake defence are no longer offered. No customer data was deleted; if you had anything with any of them, write to us. 3. Websites: what a price includes A static website is about €120 and a dynamic website about €280. That covers the whole site, not a rate per page. These are guide prices, not fixed fees: the final figure depends on the scope, and it is agreed in writing before work starts. A site substantially larger or more complicated than the usual case costs more, and we say so before you commit to anything. Bruncsoft is not registered for VAT and therefore does not charge it. Prices are in euros and no VAT is added to them. What is included: design and build; free content editing for you through Decap CMS and Decap Bridge ; and, for a static site, hosting on GitHub Pages at no cost, on an account that is yours. Design and print work is priced separately: a business card is about €16, or about €24 with a QR code. You receive print-ready files and own them. The printing itself is not in that price. You may take the files to any printer, or we can arrange the printing for you — in which case the printer’s charge is quoted to you before anything is ordered. What is not included: maintenance . It is offered separately and billed monthly, on both kinds of site, and you can stop at any time. Without it, the site keeps working but nothing is updated, backed up or fixed by us. 4. Scope and pricing of bespoke work All engagements beyond the fixed website prices are individual. Scope, deliverables, timeline and price are agreed in writing before any work begins. No work is performed, and no payment is due, until both sides have confirmed the terms. If something turns out to be beyond what we can deliver, we say so at that point rather than after you have paid for it. 5. Delivery and ownership Upon full payment, you receive full ownership of everything produced for you — code, documents and intellectual property. Bruncsoft retains no right to reuse or redistribute client-specific deliverables. There is no vendor lock: we can host and maintain the work, but you are never stuck with us. Where we review or extend work built by somebody else, that review creates no warranty over the existing work and no liability for problems already present in it. 6. Acceptable Use Our services may only be used for lawful purposes. We refuse to build, host or support anything involving illegal activity, harassment, deception of the people it is aimed at, or the circumvention of somebody else’s access controls. 7. Retired: finding and checking sources We used to research, index and check source libraries for education platforms and for companies that need to know where a claim came from. It is no longer offered — September 2026. Nobody had a paid engagement for it and no data was deleted. If you were counting on it, write to us and we will tell you honestly whether we can still help. 8. Retired: Bruncsoft Edu We used to run a public study shelf at /edu . It closed in August 2026 — a handful of sources on a page nobody has time to maintain is worse than not having the page. Nothing was deleted and nobody lost anything : there were no accounts and no paid plans. The research and checking behind it was sold as bespoke work until September 2026; see clause 7. 9. Marketing We design and write marketing material: graphics, texts, a logo, a leaflet, the wording on a page. We do not run advertising campaigns — not on Google, not on Meta, not anywhere — and we do not manage anybody’s advertising budget. If that is what you need, we will say so rather than take the work. We do not promise a result. Nobody can guarantee what a text or a design will bring in. What we undertake is the material itself, delivered as agreed and owned by you. 10. Retired: deepfake defence and security work It is no longer offered — September 2026. We do not design fraud controls, we do not run impersonation drills and we are not a security consultancy . What remains is the research we published on the subject, which you can read on our Writing page. It is a piece of writing and nothing more: it is not advice about your company , no control described in it is a guarantee against fraud, and deepfake detection tooling is unreliable on its own . 11. Hosting, maintenance and third parties Hosting and maintenance are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Content changes are part of hosting: you tell us what to change and we change it. An editing tool of our own is in development and will be included with hosting once it exists; until then this clause describes what we actually do, which is make the changes for you. Where we put a site on GitHub Pages , or content editing on Decap CMS, Decap Bridge and Netlify , those run under their own terms on accounts that belong to you — we set them up, we do not control them, and their availability is not something we can guarantee. 12. Free tools and open source Some of what we publish costs nothing and is on GitHub under the MIT licence. It is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind . Software you self-host runs on your infrastructure, under your control and your responsibility; we do not operate it and cannot see it. 13. Bruncsoft Events Bruncsoft Events is free and open to anyone , whether or not you are a customer of ours. You make a page for a job you have taken on and send your own customer the link. What you write on such a page is yours and is your responsibility. We host it; we do not check it. A page is readable by anyone holding its link, so there is deliberately nowhere on it for bank details, invoices or documents — do not put them there. Every shared page carries a way to report it. We may remove a page that is used to impersonate somebody, to defraud, or to publish anything unlawful, and we may remove the account behind it. There is a fair-use ceiling on how many pages one account can make. It is free, it comes with no guarantee of availability and no warranty, and we may change or withdraw it. If that ever happens we will say so on the page with enough notice to copy anything you need. 14. Polls We sometimes run a poll on a private link. A vote is anonymous by construction — see the Privacy Policy . A poll is for interest, not a survey, and nothing in it is a forecast or advice. Where a poll asks about real people, the options are facts about who is standing and are not an endorsement of anybody. 15. We do not measure visits Since 12 September 2026 this site counts nothing at all. There is no analytics, no tracking cookie, no third-party script and therefore no consent banner to click away. Until that date we kept our own page counts — which page, which day, which site linked here — and only for visitors who accepted the banner; those numbers are totals with no IP address, browser or identifier in them, so there is nothing in them that points at a person. 16. Limitation of Liability Bruncsoft's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for damage arising from AI output that was relied on without review, nor for free tools and open-source software provided at no charge. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. 17. Contact Questions: ✕ Privacy Policy Effective date: October 2, 2026 1. Data We Collect We collect personal data in the following cases: - Contact form — your name, email address, subject and message. - Newsletter — your email address, until you unsubscribe. - Platform accounts — your email address, used to sign you in by emailed link and to issue an API key. We store only a hash of the key, never the key itself. Accounts are created by us ; there is no sign-up form. - Bespoke work — whatever you send us in order to have something built. It is yours, we process it to do the job, and it goes back to you. - Bruncsoft Events — if you make a page for one of your own jobs, we store what you write on it and the email address you sign in with. The people you send the link to get no account and we record nothing about them — not an address, not a visit. What you put on such a page is yours and is readable by anyone holding the link, which is why there is nowhere on it to put bank details or documents. - Polls — a vote is anonymous, and that is how the database is built rather than a promise about how we behave. A recorded vote holds the poll, the option and the time, and nothing that could identify you: no address, no account, no cookie. To stop one person voting twenty times we separately record that somebody voted from a given place — never what they chose — as a one-way code that cannot be reversed and is different in every poll. The two cannot be matched up, by us or by anyone else. We do not measure visits at all. Since 12 September 2026 nothing about your visit is recorded — not the page, not the day, not where you came from, and certainly not your IP address or your browser. There is no analytics of ours and none from anybody else, which is why this site no longer asks you about cookies. The totals we counted before that date contain no IP address, no browser and no identifier, so there is nothing in them that could be traced to you. We also use browser localStorage — see our Cookie Policy . 2. Legal Basis & Purpose Contact enquiries and project work — performance of a contract, or legitimate interest in answering you before there is one (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Newsletter — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time. Accounts and the content you put into a product — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Bruncsoft Events — performance of a contract with you as the person using it (Art. 6(1)(b)). Whatever you write about your own customer on such a page, you are responsible for; we host it. Polls — a vote carries no personal data at all, so there is nothing of yours being processed. The one-way code that stops repeat voting rests on our legitimate interest in a poll that means something (Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use personal data for marketing without explicit consent, and never sell it to anyone. 3. Data Storage & Retention Data is stored on our own server in the EU (Germany). Contact submissions are retained for up to 5 years for legal purposes. Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them. Project and account data is kept for the life of the account and deleted on request. The page counts kept until 12 September 2026 were aggregate from the moment they were written — there is no per-visitor record to delete, and nothing new is being added. Pages you make in Bruncsoft Events stay until you delete them; deleting one takes its contents and stops the link working immediately. Votes in a poll cannot be deleted on request — not because we will not, but because there is nothing linking any vote to you, so there is no way to find yours. That is the trade anonymity makes. A request to delete your data is itself kept as a record that the request was made and acted on. We keep the fact, not the data. 4. Who Else Processes It (subprocessors) We keep this list short on purpose. Today it is: - Resend — delivers our transactional email (sign-in links, notifications). It processes the address and the message we send. - Hetzner — hosts our server in Germany. Our contact form is delivered by our own mail server, not by a third party. Nothing you write to us or put into Bruncsoft Events is sent to an AI provider — neither product uses a language model at all. For bespoke work , any third party involved (a host, a model provider, a CMS) is one you choose and contract with directly, on your own account. We set it up; we are not a party to your agreement with them. 5. Your Rights (GDPR) Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, object to processing, withdraw consent, and request a portable copy. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@bruncsoft.com . We will respond within 30 days. If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (ÚOOÚ) at uoou.gov.cz . 6. Automated Decisions We make no automated decisions with legal effect about you. AI in our products summarises, sorts and drafts; a person decides. 7. Data Controller Bruncsoft — ✕ Cookie Policy Effective date: September 12, 2026 1. What are cookies? Cookies are small text files placed in your browser by a website. They are necessary for certain technical functions and cannot carry viruses or install software. 2. Cookies we use We set no third-party cookies at all — no Google, no advertising network, no tracker. And since 12 September 2026 we set no analytics cookie either : we switched off our own visitor counting, so there is nothing left to ask you about and no banner to click away. What remains is one cookie, and only if you ask for it: - Session cookie — only if you sign in. A random identifier and nothing about you, httpOnly and secure . Strictly necessary for signing in, so it needs no consent. Browsing this site without signing in sets no cookie at all. 3. We do not count visits We do not record which page you opened, which day you came, where you came from, your IP address, your browser, or anything else about your visit. Not through a service, and not on our own server either. The totals we kept until September 2026 are running numbers with no IP address and no identifier in them — there is no per-visitor record, which means there is nothing for us to hand over or lose. 4. Local browser storage We use your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) to remember your light/dark preference. This stays in your own browser; we cannot read it from our side. 5. Legal basis Session cookie — strictly necessary for a service you asked for. localStorage — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in remembering your preferences.
